Dr Faust's Painting Clinic on Youtube is good place to start but he doesn't do that much GW stuff but you might be able to figure out some Mid-shade-highlight triads you can use. My advice is to find some tutorials that use Vallejo and go from there. For instance Beige Red and Brown Rose are practically identical in value and they have them as a mid and a highlight fleshtone. I nearly drove myself crazy my first try at minipainting by trying to convert GW to Vallejo and then follow GW/White Dwarf tutorials.
